A few study tips for your Leaving Certificate!
Set a certain day of the week which you will practise one essay. This means you'll be practising an essay a week. Which is enough since your teacher will probably already be giving you some essays to do anyway.
For that week, study the topic that you're going to be doing for that essay. So for example, if you were to do this weekly essay practise over the weekend, prepare for it throughout the week in free classes or spare time.
The essay should be a past Leaving Certificate question, and since StudyClix specialises in that, go look for an essay to do and begin your weekly essay practise!
And don't be afraid to ask your teacher to correct it. That's what they're there for. When you've done the essay, go to the teacher and ask them to correct it. Get advice and let the next week begin!
What advice can I give for short questions? Again, practise. Choose a day of the week that you'll practise the full short questions section of an exam paper, and practise them. Have your text book beside you, fill in the answers, and that's that!
As I always say, YOU CAN'T LEARN TO RIDE A BIKE BY STARING AT IT. GET ON THE BIKE AND YOU WILL LEARN.
