I've seen on exam questions that sometimes the standard deviation is put over the square root of the population sample to find the margin of error in the 95% confidence interval. Havent seen that before and I'm wondering why its there???

It's new to the course since 2014

It's not the standard deviation , it's just 1 over the square root of the population sample
