How many hours of study should a junior cert be doing per night?

I just do my homework. It is only September and the junior doesn't matter anyway!

Homework, then study a month before your mocks for an hour a night on top of homework, then continue that up until June

Maybe, you could do your written homework and as your doing it,take in what your writing and learn as your writing, it wil be easier than 'Cramming' in all the study before the mocks. Also, take ONE subject per night and do it for half an hour to fourty-five minutes. But don't over do it. :)

For my Junior Cert two years ago, I just did homework from September to February, the an hours study a night from March to April then about 3-4 hours a night from April to May. Its only the Junior Cert anyway, its marked easy enough, its the Leaving Cert you need to worry about. My advice for the Leaving Cert is study you back side off for 5th year and revise for 6th year, Its worked for me until now and I've my exams in three weeks. Best of luck!
