It wasnt too bad main problem was time i found that i had to write everything down that was in my head rather than think before i write. The first question with the lamb was a bit silly aswell but overall good test
For the lamb poem, I said the man was talking about how the lamb is dangerous. Like just because it's small, cute and fluffy doesn't take away from the fact that it's still a wild animal idk. He seems scared of the lamb though. He repeated 'black' twice so maybe the repetition was him showing fear because the colour black represents death, bad luck and something dangerous in Chinese culture.:grin:
i said for the poem about the lamb that he felt guilty becuase he realised how humans kill animals for food when really they are just innocent animals and that he compared the guilt he felt towards the lamb to the guilt he feels with his granddaughter idk.
I thought that it was fine ... i said that the poet felt bad about slaughtering the lamb for meat. I just about got it done. Everybody in my school seemed to have different intrepretations of the poem.
I said about the innocence and purity of the lamb and the grand-daughter, like how they both did not understand the horrors of the world and that the man took time out of his day to reflect on himself and the lamb helped inspire these thoughts.
But I don't know. Maybe that was all useless. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
i said that the man was guilty and used a simile to compare his guilt to telling his granddaughter a lie. i also said that his reaction was suprising as when you come face to face with a sheep your first thought is to run away or retreat but he just started identifying its features.
The lamb was most likely slaughtered. The evidence is very clear. For example we have him with the lamb late at night, "twilight" I believe was the word used. Now why would he be there late at night rather than during the day? We then have him feeling guilty. What could he be guilty about? People usually feel guilty over something bad that they have done or are about to do. Then we have him lying to this daughter. Why would he just lie to his daughter while feeling guilty? Is he trying to protect her? Did the night act as a cover for his obscene acts?
the questions were grand tbh i just didnt have enough time to properly finish them all.I thought they learned from the mistake of giving 4 sections in 2017 when they gave 3 sections in 2018,but they decided to go with the 4 sections again and i havent a clue why
i feel like the junior cert exam i had was a bit too chilled out like there was only one person at the top of the exam centre and he just stared at a book the whole time, whereas the leaving certs had about 10 teachers walking up and down. the supervisor even let someone have 10 minutes extra to finish the paper which was a bit weird but i dont know
yea i think i messed up the nobel prize i wrote about the 2 qualities that the academy thing award (qualities and merits of achievement). would you say i'll get like 6 or 7 attempt marks i think it was about 15 marks
