I have some questions lol Exam was extremely easy wasted alot of time studying tbh. 1. does anyone know which egg had the most density 2. What was the ratio of the alluminium element thing 3.What was the density off the cuboid 4. How many volts did people get for the appliances? 5. Which object had the highest mass? Last question. I have a feeling that was a trick question, I said C was I right?

1. the egg that sank 2. 3:1 3. 2g cm -3 4. divide the current into power rating 5. C had the lowest mass
Yay! btw you got the ratio wrong- you had to swap the sides, so it was actually 1:3
i said 1:3 in the exam but i typed the wrong one
i wrote 2 gcm -2 am i going to lose a lot of marks? like i put down the formula and all just blanked out for whether to write 2 or 3 lmao
its 3:1
@Pacify the exam asked for u to find the chemical formula not the ratio, so its wrong if u just say 1:3, i think it has to be AlCl3 (small3)
Its 1:3 , my teacher showed me how to do it, when you get the valency you have to swap them :)
"Aluminium reacts with chlorine to form the compound aluminium chloride. Use the Periodic Table on page 79 of the Formulae and Tables booklet to predict the ratio of aluminium to chlorine in this compound. Hence write the chemical formula for aluminium chloride."
ye i know, i wrote both the ratio and chemical formula lol so im g
was it an ionic bond? i added + and - to show which
was it an ionic bond? i added + and - to show which
its AlCl3 or AlCl[to the power of 3]
it was ionic bonding but the pluses and minuses cancel eachother out, leaving you with AlCl3
.
ty ty!
