There is no need to colour any questions, waste of time and no marks awarded. There is a need however to tidy up your drawings as 40 marks (10%) is going for neatness and tidyness alone, so watch your lines, limit your mistakes, keep your T square and set squares and clean and pencils sharp, and use the right pencil for the right job! I would advise 20-30 mins on short questions (The quicker the better) And it is Ideal to spend 35 minutes on each long question. Use the extra time at the end to tidy up your long questions and read over shorts. I cannot stress how important timing is, and no matter how much it pains you, when your timing is up, especially on a long question, you have to move on or you'll drag yourself down. Evem when practicing make moving on a habit, not staying on the question for as long as you like. And of course, a good adjustable set square greatly cuts time, it saved my hide and got me a B (tho I guarantee I must have been very close to an A) In my Junior Cert laste year, as it greatly cuts transformtion Geometry times.
Very important to do short questions! DONT leave them out...thats what saved me cuz i ran out of time didnt finish all my long questions but i still got 83%.My teacger said its my short questions that saved me
