Rounding in budgeting

Doing the cash budget in 2007 and interest is coming in at 333.3333... a month. Marking schme has it down as 333 and the total as 1998 but before dividing by the two months the total is 2000. It's a minor difference but which are we meant to use?

my maths teacher always said to never round until the final figure, i know it's a different subject but that's the rule of thumb i use anyway!

The weird thing with this is they've rounded every sigure EXCEPT the final figure which is the same? The fact it's 'budgeted' might be a reason but it's very grey just going to hope there's no decimals tomorrow.
