Should I make notes???

I had a terrible biology teacher in 5th year and we didn't write any notes in class. I ended up getting a h4 in the summer exams. Should I make my own notes or buy revise wise biology and just study from that? Apart from doing exam qs how should I study?

Don't spend too much time making elaborate notes. I like to write down some key points and definitions as I am studying the chapter.

I'd say make notes but don't spend too much time making them fancy. I like to write questions in the left-hand column of my notes so that when I go back to study them, I go through the questions first and see what I didn't know instead of just rereading them. Maybe that could help you.

writing up notes is too time-consuming, youre better off doing exam questions and noting definitions and the ones that come often. if you really wanna make notes, condense a single chapter into a single a4 page by only including whatever the bio syllabus is asking to be known in the chapter as thats the only thing they could ask you.
