We have two types of upgrade options on Studyclix: plans and add-ons.
Our plans include Basic, Plus and Premium.
Our add-ons are also called 'Boost' and are available in LC Biology, Maths and JC Maths.
Keep reading to find out what is offered in each and which ones might be best for your child.
Anyone can sign up to Studyclix with a free Basic account. You can stay on Basic as long as you like, there is no expiry date, but you are limited to what you can access.
We recommend students use Basic to get familiar with what's on Studyclix in the early days of studying, then upgrade when they are ready to step up the study and access all questions and features.
Here is what you can access with Basic:
3 exam questions on each topic
You can save questions
You can do 5 quiz questions per topic
You get access to study advice, subject guides and free videos and notes
Access to our community
In addition to all the features offered with a Basic account, Studyclix Plus gives you full access to all past state exam questions and marking schemes in all your subjects.
An upgrade to a Plus account is €49.99 until the end of the school year (July 1st). We hope you agree this is great value, coming in at the same as what you might pay for just a single grinds session!
Plus is a good option for students looking to use the essentials and finding a simple way to stay on track.
A Plus account offers you the following:
All state exam questions and marking schemes by topic in your subjects
1 mock exam question on each topic
All quiz questions in available topics
Hundreds of video solutions and sample answers
Listening comprehension audio clips
Plus accounts work well for students who want a lighter approach, though it’s not as comprehensive for achieving top-tier results. To give your child the best chance, we recommend our most popular plan: Premium.
A Premium account gives you full access to Studyclix. In addition to all the state exam questions, we also offer mock questions on all subject topics for only €74.99 until the end of the school year (July 1st)
Our Premium plan offers the best experience, with all the tools and resources needed to achieve the best results and reach full potential.
A Premium account offers you everything in Plus, and:
All mock exam questions by topic in your subjects
2025 mock paper (after Easter)
Video solutions for maths mock exam questions
The main feature of a Premium account is access to all mock exam questions by topic in addition to state exam questions. Access to mock papers means access to double the amount of questions those on Plus accounts have. By practising twice the amount of exam-style questions, students are more prepared for an exam and increase their chance of achieving a high mark.
