Common Questions

Buying a school licence works out far cheaper than letting students buy for themselves. In addition, a school licence means that teacher know that ALL students in their classes have access and therefore can assign work through Studyclix.

Each student from 1st to 6th year receives content and guidance tailored to their year group and subject choices. A whole-school licence yields better results school-wide.

We are happy to provide even bigger discounts for DEIS schools. Get in touch at schools@studyclix.ie letting us know the school's enrolment and we can send you a quote.

All teachers in Ireland can get Studyclix Plus for free already, so they do not need to be included in the price, as they can set up an account for free using the school's teacher access code. We will send this code to you as a reminder for all teachers along with the student code once you buy a licence.

Yes! Schools may use the funding for digital media support, which relates to teaching and learning within curricular requirements. Studyclix access for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students is allowable under the Schoolbooks grant for the 24/25 school year.

A licence lasts from the date ordered until the end of the school year. After July 1st, any student who upgraded their account using the school's code will be downgraded and the code will expire and can no longer be redeemed.

Contact our Schools Manager at schools@studyclix.ie, indicating how many students are in the school and we will send a quote. Alternatively, fill in this form and we'll get back to you asap.

Access for 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students can be covered by the JC Schoolbooks Grant for 24/25. Schools tend to fund their Studyclix access using school budget, by charging the parents or through sponsorship by a local third-level institution or company (see here).

Yes, all whole school licences include a free online info session for teachers at your next staff meeting. We'll go through how teachers can Studyclix inside and outside the classroom and how they can encourage the students to use the resource. We also offer a free study skills and info session for students where we show them how to get the best out of their account.

Once they move to a Studyclix school licence, many schools no longer require students to buy all their hard copy exam booklets. Students and teachers can prin out any papers they need and downloadable paper booklets are available along with marking schemes, video solutions and sample answers.

Parents are highly motivated to help their child succeed in school but often feel that they don’t have the knowledge to properly help their child in many of their subjects. Parents can access our subject guides to understand the structure of each exam, read our advice for studying certain topics and support their child’s learning by watching solution videos with them or working through topic quizzes.

Getting set up is really quick and we can have you up and running with all of the details you need on the same day that you confirm your wish to avail of a licence.

While you won't currently have access to a dashboard where you can view this data (it's in the works!), we will send you periodic updates on how the uptake is doing, as well as send regular email reminders to the students in the school to use their account.

The price is per student, per academic year. There is no charge for TY students but they can be included in the access. The cost per student reduces if more students are covered and we offer additional discounts for DEIS schools and Gaelcholáistí.

No, Boost is a separate product and is added as a supplement to Plus and Premium access. Boost is currently available in Maths for all year groups and Biology for 5th and 6th years. Boost is only €25 per student when bought as part of a school licence. Find more information about Boost here.
